The object of the Scheme is to estimate Gross Fixed Capital Formation for Tamil Nadu in both Public and Private Sectors, based on the methodology given by CSO. It throws light on the Capital Formation in the State under various sectors that would help the Government to formulate policies and programmes for the State.
The preparation on estimates of Gross Fixed Capital Formation for public sector for the State in new Series (base year 2011-12) for the year 2017-18 is under progress.
